Fire broke out in the ginning factory established in Colony Textile Mills, Ismailabad on Tuesday morning due to the negligence of the workers. Stock of seed-cotton and ginned cotton badly damaged. Fire brigade put out the fire after two hours hectic efforts.

When contacted the management of Colony Textile Mills said that cause of fire could not be ascertained immediately. It might be a short circuit or negligence of the workers. It also refused to disclose the quantum of loss and said that we would assess the losses after shifting the damaged cotton.
